Anding Environmental has expert knowledge of local geology, Edward Aquifer issues, and TCEQ regulations. We provide services for commercial clients needing assessments and guidance for TCEQ requirements, and for landowners wanting to build in the Texas Hill Country.
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has regulations requiring a Geologic Assessment (GA) be performed for many commercial development sites over the Edwards Aquifer prior to construction. The GA is designed to prevent contamination of the Edwards Aquifer from the development of a site.
Anding Environmental is a registered Geoscience Firm with the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists and Mr. Anding is a registered Professional Geoscientist (P.G.). The TCEQ requires that a P.G. prepare and seal any Geologic Assessments submitted to the State. Mr. Anding has great experience in both preparing these reports and interacting with the TCEQ for clients.
We often receive requests from potential home/land buyers wanting to know more about the geology of a particular tract of land before purchasing the property. The Texas Hill Country has a unique karst limestone geology that is partly defined by its caves, sinkholes, and fractures. If you are concerned about purchasing land due to the local geology, we can help in your decision making process by providing a basic geologic assessment to determine if further investigation is recommended.
