We currently serve projects in Central Texas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and surrounding areas. We can also travel throughout Texas as needed.
Environmental Site Assessments
Anding Environmental provides Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) services for a variety of clients in the Central Texas region.
A Phase I ESA is a report created by a qualified environmental professional designed to provide protection for current landowners, lenders, and potential property investors. The investigation involves a review of environmental records, a site reconnaissance, and interviews with owners, occupants, neighbors, and local government officials. A Phase I ESA should follow the ASTM 1527-13 standard and address any other regulatory requirements. Should a Phase I ESA discover potential environmental concerns, a Phase II ESA might be needed to confirm the presence or absence of potential contamination of the site.
Anding Environmental has the experienced and qualified personnel to develop high quality ESAs for your investments.
Environmental Resource Inventories
Per local government Land Development Codes, an Environmental Resource Inventory (ERI) report is required for certain proposed developments.
An ERI is required for properties within the Edwards Aquifer recharge or contributing zone; within the Drinking Water Protection Zone; with springs, recharge features, or wetlands; or, containing a water quality transition zone (WQTX), a critical water quality zone (CWQZ), the 100 year floodplain, or with a gradient of more than 15%.
Anding Environmental provides quality ERIs that go above and beyond typcial COA Watershed Protection Department requirements. We offer affordable assessments with competitive turnaround times.
Groundwater Availability Certification
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requires certification of groundwater availability for proposed subdivisions when the groundwater beneath the land serves as the source of water
supply. Previously, this certification was optional.
As a professional geologist, Mr. Anding has executed groundwater availability and characterization projects across Texas and the United States.
Geologic Assessments
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has regulations requiring a Geologic Assessment (GA) be performed for many commercial development sites over the Edwards Aquifer prior to construction. The GA is designed to prevent contamination of the Edwards Aquifer from the development of a site.
As a Texas licensed Professional Geoscientist, Mr. Anding has years of experience and understanding of the Edwards Aquifer karst systems and surficial features. We can efficiently, and most importantly, accurately, develop a GA for submittal to TCEQ.
